Rheumatism outpatient clinic

For all disorders of the musculoskeletal system where the cause is unclear, such as pain or restricted movement in joints, muscles, tendons or other soft tissue structures, an outpatient examination can be carried out to determine whether or not a rheumatic disease is present. For severe diseases, however, for which an immediate multidisciplinary diagnosis and swift, skilled therapy are required, an inpatient consultation is recommended.

The rheumatism outpatient clinic is also responsible for providing ambulatory treatment for patients who have improved to the point where they no longer need inpatient treatment, or to provide a ‘second opinion’ in the event of problems in diagnosis or therapy, and to carry out specific laboratory tests.
